Julianne Moore, nee Julie Anne Smith was born December 3, 1960 in Fayetteville, North Carolina, USA and she’s 5′ 4″ (1.63 m) and her father was a judge in the ‘Army’s Judge Advocate General Corps’ and her mother was a psychiatric social worker.
After Jodie Foster turned down the chance to reprise her Oscar-winning role of Clarice Starling in Hannibal (2001), Julianne got the part, triumphing over many others such as Helen Hunt, Gillian Anderson and Cate Blanchett.
